The formula is based on the concept of the skin's "moisture reservoir" (Moisture Reservoir Skin) — it hydrates the stratum corneum and strengthens its ability to retain moisture over time.

Key ingredients and their effects:

• An amino acid complex helps replenish the skin's natural moisturizing factor, supports moisture balance in the stratum corneum, and reduces dryness, tightness, and roughness.
• A ceramide-like amino acid component (Lauroyl Glutamate) helps strengthen the lipid barrier, reduces sensitivity to external irritants, and improves moisture retention.
• Polyquaternium-61 (a biomimetic moisturizing polymer) forms a weightless moisture-retaining network on the skin's surface, helping to prevent water evaporation throughout the day.
• Dipotassium glycyrrhizate helps soothe the skin and reduce irritation during periods of reactivity and heightened sensitivity.
• Glyceryl glucoside and calcium phosphorylated oligosaccharides help enhance the skin's internal moisture retention mechanisms and improve elasticity.
