- AHA (fruit acids) dissolve bonds between keratinized scales, exfoliate dead cells, promote renewal of the keratin layer, cleanse pores and eliminate inflammation. AHAs also have an antioxidant effect, accelerate collagen synthesis, restore the lipid structures of the epidermis and saturate the skin with moisture.
- Papain breaks down and dissolves keratin, exfoliates the stratum corneum, stimulates the growth of new cells, evens out the microrelief, improves the water balance in the epidermis.
