MI Paste is a remineralizing treatment developed in Japan over the past decade. It is designed to prevent and address early-stage cavities while alleviating tooth sensitivity caused by hot and cold foods. The paste contains the patented ingredient Recaldent (casein phosphopeptide-amorphous calcium phosphate), which interacts with saliva and natural hydroxyapatite. This creates a protective biofilm over the teeth, shielding the enamel from cavities and acidic damage while enhancing calcium absorption and restoring the mineral balance in the mouth.
MI Paste is also recommended for young children with baby teeth, as it promotes the development of a stronger, more caries-resistant enamel structure, particularly during the crucial early years (the first 3-4 years) after the eruption of both primary and permanent teeth. It effectively prevents and treats the early signs of childhood caries in primary teeth.
Please note that this paste is not intended for use as a tooth-cleaning product.
